Questions or Concerns
Once you’ve decided I’m the right artist for your event, you will have a dedicated event coordinator at our agency Alive Network who will be on hand to liaise with you on any issues, questions or concerns. We’ll be in touch around 3 weeks before your event to run through the details and finalise any last minute arrangements.
What I'll Do At Your Weddings
Arrival, set up and sound checkIn most cases I arrive and set up 30 minutes before guests are due to arrive however due to start times this may not be possible. But we will get an opportunity to discuss this information before the event. When we talk for the first time I will ask you for a venue contact so when I arrive at the venue the event contact will be able to advise me where to park and unload my equipment. When I have set up my equipment I will check the volume levels so will need to sing at full volume. If speeches etc are going on nearby I will happily wait until this is convenient. |
After set upWhen my equipment is in place, I will start my interval music, played at a volume which is agreed with you. This will be a continuous playlist of easy listening songs, suitable for when guests are arriving or during the serving or eating food. Depending on the time I am due to start this is a good opportunity for me to have a light snack before performing however if this is not convenient for you I am happy to wait until a buffet etc has been served. Ideally having somewhere private and secure to sit and wait until my performance is useful however we will have the opportunity to discuss when we talk prior to the event. |
1st live set / 1st danceThis can include a first dance, up-tempo or laid back music depending on the requests of the client. I recommend not performing when food is being served as guests will be busy enjoying their food and sometimes up-tempo songs at the beginning of the evening might not be suitable if guests are just arriving and trying to catch up with friends and relatives. |
2nd live set & end of the nightIn most cases food is served between my sets, if this is not the case then I suggest at least 30 minutes space between my sets. The 2nd set is usually the party set however I will be observing the guests and deciding on the most suitable songs to perform for the audience. Any requests will be already included into my sets. My performance always ends with a few encores and depending on when I end my show, I will play suitable music until 12 midnight. |
